Single Origin - Colombia Peñas Blancas Pink Bourbon Decaf

This beautiful Pink Bourbon varietal was processed at Jhoan Vergara and Nestor Lasso’s Beneficio Peñas Blancas mill, a venture operated by Las Flores. Coffees are brought by farmers to this central beneficio, or mill, for processing under Peñas Blancas’ innovative methods, which include techniques like thermally shocking coffee to arrest fermentation.

The coffee was then decaffeinated be Swiss Water in Vancouver, Canada using their proprietary green coffee extract method, resulting in a distinctly fruity character with almost no caffeine remaining.

We had the opportunity to taste this coffee as soon as it arrived, and were blown away by how well the varietal flavour has been preserved. It's a delicious treat, so get some before it's gone!

Look for flavours of raspberry, lychee, and lemongrass.
